Life Is Happening Now, 48” x 48”, acrylic on canvas, 2011
Dearest Tumblr,
I’ve not posted here for months ‘cause I’ve been driving across the continent with the incomparable marlolavonne. We’ve traveled from Tofino to Montreal, and will soon reach the Atlantic.
Thanks for your interest in my work. In November, new things will appear.
James

Mantra No. 11, 30” x 60”, 2010-11
I made the final touches to this painting while celebrating New Year’s Eve with my love, Marlo. Hidden in the bottom right quadrant of the painting are the words, “be loving and child-like. this is simple.”
Click-through the image to see the detail, and find the rest of my Mantra series here.
I’m a working artist. I paint all year and sell what I make. Tonight, I’ve tagged the ‘for sale’ paintings on my Tumblr for those who may wish to collect one.
Paintings may be purchased from my existing collection or new work may be commissioned. I will travel for consultations and installations, or I will ship paintings anywhere in the world. If you have questions about my art practice or the paintings, please write to james@jameswyper.com
All the best,
James
